U.S. Economic Growth “All But Stagnated” At Just 0.2

Official figures released today by the U.S. Commerce Department show that the economy grew by a mere 0.2% during the first quarter of 2015. Additionally, this minimal rise was only achieved through increased personal consumption and private investment. US chief economist at Capital Economics, Paul Ashworth, described our economy’s performance as “all but stagnated” in the first quarter.
